Building on the strength of its 30 years of existence, the Laurentian Ski Museum was proud to open its first permanent exhibit, titled The History of Skiing in the Laurentians, How we live in winter, with winter and from winter. To properly dignify this first permanent exhibit, the Museum was completely revamped, walls, ceiling and lighting were rebuilt specifically so that the space, which was a fire station, could become a veritable Museum in the heart of the Laurentians. More than a half a million dollars were invested to accomplish the project.
